Three parks in Bucharest now host solar dispensers which allow walkers to exchange their bottles and cans for food and water for stray cats.
This initiative, led by Sache Vet and supported by the town hall and Greater Good Charities, offers vital support to animals, particularly during periods of extreme cold or intense heat.
In addition to helping cats, the distributors also display messages encouraging the adoption of stray dogs.
The dispensers, currently installed in Tineretului, Circului and Floreasca parks, could soon expand to other locations to satisfy growing public interest.
