Video. Ukraine: several dead in Russian strikes on Kyiv, Kharkiv and the Dnipropetrovsk region


New Russian strikes fell this Tuesday on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, as well as the city of Kharkiv and the Dnipropetrovsk region, in the east of the country, leaving at least six dead and 80 injured according to a report from local authorities.

In recent weeks, Kyiv and Moscow have accused each other of increasing strikes on civilian areas with sometimes very heavy tolls, while the situation on the front is almost frozen.

“The number of deaths as a result of enemy strikes is five, and 51 people were injured”indicated the regional governor of Kharkiv, Oleg Synegoubov, revising upwards the previous toll, which reported three deaths and 43 injured.

In Pavlograd, in the Dnipropetrovsk region (center), “one person was killed and another injured”according to the regional leader, Serguiï Lyssak.

Burned building and vehicles

In Kyiv, 22 people were injured, said the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, specifying that “13 were hospitalized, including three children”.

According to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, one person is in “state of clinical death”but the authorities in the capital have not yet confirmed his death.

A building and vehicles were on fire in the Sviatochynski district of Kyiv, according to the same source. In this same neighborhood, the unexploded warhead of a missile was found in an apartment. In the Pechersk district, a fire broke out in a building “non-residential”.

Three more people were injured by missile fragments in the Kyiv region, head of the military administration Ruslan Kravchenko said.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Chmygal said his country would “make Russia pay for the suffering and pain it has caused”.
