On New Year’s Eve, a team of doctors from a “stabilization point” – a medical post closest to the front – in the Kharkiv region, prepared for the holiday while waiting for the wounded.
After listening to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s speech and exchanging greetings, the arrival of the wounded interrupted the moment.
Throughout the evening, five soldiers were treated for injuries from recent attacks. Despite the festive occasion, the team remained focused on their tasks, ensuring that all injured people were cared for and transferred to medical facilities.
By the end of the night, all five injured soldiers were expected to survive, a testament to the dedication of the medical team.
