Among the released prisoners are people who were involved in the siege of Mariupol in 2022 and soldiers who fought near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant at the start of the conflict, the president said.
The last exchange between the two countries dates back to May 31, when 75 prisoners of war were exchanged.
