Occupied Jerusalem- The Israeli occupation forces demolished 7 shops and a three-story building in the village of Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem, during recent weeks, at a time when the village became besieged by settlements and settlement roads, in addition to the separation wall that isolated it from Jerusalem.

The acting head of the local council, Saed Al-Khatib, speaks to Al-Jazeera Net about the reality of the harassment that the village is experiencing, and the persecution of residents of its eastern areas adjacent to the settlements, in addition to the impact of Israeli measures since the start of the war on Gaza last October.

The spokesman also pointed out the uprooting of more than a thousand olive trees from the eastern region adjacent to the Israeli settlement of Adam, and the attacks on agricultural lands and farmers.
