Each May 25, the parade pays tribute to the memory of the clown Tony Perejil, who died in 1987, and brings together artists from all over the country.
Participants compete for prices in categories such as costume, makeup, routines and improvisation, attracting large crowds each year.
The event has been held for more than three decades, stopping only in 2020 and 2021 due to the Pandemic of Covid-19.
