The amorphophallus titanum, nicknamed “putricia” by its fans, has flowered, giving off a putrid smell of decomposition flesh.
There are many visitors who have queue to admire this 1.6 meter high flower and corpse scents.
This flowering, the first in 15 years at the Royal Sydney Botanic Garden, aroused incredible craze, with more than 13,000 admirers.
In the wild, the plant only flowers every 7 to 10 years.
