Video. Protesters block Tel Aviv highway to demand release of remaining hostages

The demonstrators brandished photos of Israeli women still held hostage by Hamas in Gaza.

The demonstrators affirmed according to the Israeli channel Canal 12 that “they would not forget their brothers and sisters still detained in the tunnels”.

When the traffic was heaviest, in traffic jams, they held up large photos of the hostages.

In recent weeks, many Israeli cities have seen almost daily protests to pressure the right-wing government of Benjamin Netanyahu into reaching a deal with Hamas to exchange Israeli and Palestinian prisoners.
