Prince William participated on Wednesday May 22 in a football match during a visit to the Leith Community Center in Edinburg. The Prince of Wales meets David Duke, founder of Street Soccer Scotland, an association that supports people homeless and who tries to create social ties.
After observing the players, he joined the field, missing his first shot, but succeeding in the second, to the applause of all the athletes.
This visit comes as the Royal Foundation of the Prince and the Princess of Wales is launching a new partnership with Street Soccer Scotland, focused on improving mental health, well-being and the reduction of social isolation thanks to sport.
