Video. No Comment. Ukrainians sing in the subway, sheltering from a massive Russian strike

Faced with a deadly barrage involving more than 100 missiles and a hundred drones, launched against 15 regions of their country during the night, the Ukrainians have once again demonstrated that their spirit is indestructible.

The footage shows Kyiv residents, filmed early Monday morning, singing the city’s official anthem in a metro station that was serving as their shelter, as air raid sirens sounded in the Ukrainian capital and other parts of the country.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said Monday morning that 15 regions of Ukraine had been targeted by Russian air strikes overnight.

The attack was carried out using drones, cruise missiles and “Kinzhal” hypersonic ballistic missiles.

Ukrainians are instructed to immediately take refuge in underground spaces when the warning sirens sound.

Underground metro stations, many of which were built during the Soviet era as fallout shelters and thus at great depth, have become part of many citizens’ wartime experience and forums for cultural resilience.
