The NGO Rio de Paz organized a demonstration on Copacabana beach on Wednesday to demand answers from the government over the violent deaths of children in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
A Christmas tree with red crosses as decorations was placed in the sand next to photos of children, most of them victims of stray bullets.
According to the NGO, 48 children have died violently since 2020 in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
