The first “encierro” of the Pamplona festivities of the 2024 edition featured bulls from the Victoriano del Río cattle ranch in Madrid. Starting at 8am in temperatures of around twenty degrees, the bulls quickly covered the route from Santo Domingo to the enclosures, in less than two and a half minutes. The high number of runners led to numerous falls. In total, 6 people were injured.
