The steep canyon and imposing structure of the 500 meter high viaduct created a demanding environment that left no room for error, making the successful execution of the maneuver even more remarkable.
Executing the loop in a tight diamond formation, under the added pressure of negative G-force and in a confined environment, showcased the team’s exceptional skill and precision.
While inverted flight – flying with the head aimed towards the ground – is a common element of aerobatics routines, performing it in such a confined space is a rare and very difficult feat.
