Protesters waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans to show their support amid the war between Israel and Hamas. A police water cannon attempted to disperse the crowd in front of the embassy.
The United States on Friday vetoed a Security Council resolution demanding a humanitarian ceasefire.
This came as Israel continues its military offensive deeper into the Gaza Strip and the willingness to discuss a ceasefire fades according to Qatari mediators.
