Video. No Comment. Mud to rebuild destroyed houses in Khan Younes


The Palestinian Wafa news agency published a video showing the efforts of families to rebuild their damaged and destroyed homes after more than 13 months of Israeli bombardment.

The images show residents of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, using the materials they were able to salvage, mainly mud, to rebuild and renovate their reduced to ruined homes.

According to Wafa, the residents had been displaced by the war and had returned to their homes in Khan Yunis.

According to the United Nations, as of October 2024, more than 1.9 million people in Gaza have been displaced since October 7, 2023, representing almost all of Gaza’s 2.2 million residents.

According to the enclave’s Health Ministry, at least 43,972 people have been killed in the Gaza Strip in the 13 months since the start of the war. More than 104,000 people were injured.
