Conservation programs, such as Life Intemares, aim to improve the survival of the species, as only one in a thousand turtles reach adulthood.

After living for a year in the Oceanogràfic basins of Valencia, the turtles are released into the sea.

This center welcomes newborns and also functions as a hospital for sick turtles or victims of accidents such as amputations or shell fractures.
