Peru’s “Penitentiary Cup” is played by 12 teams of inmates locked up in 12 prisons on the country’s Pacific coast.
The prisoners arrived in chains, put on the jerseys of the real nations participating in the Copa Americalike Argentina and Brazil, while mascots got the crowd going!
The final of the tournament will be played in mid-July at the national stadium in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
