The cages of Lucky and Vanda, the young seals, are then opened and everyone can go to sea.

Lucky dives and disappears. Vanda, for her part, returns to the beach, notably to the caretakers who took care of her when she was found abandoned in July 2024.

Blame it on the tourists who got too close to them. Panicked, the seal parents jumped into the water, leaving the hatchlings unable to follow.

An association then took them in until the seals were old enough to return to their natural environment.
