Video. No comment: demonstration against the recriminalization of cannabis

Cannabis activists and traders gathered at the United Nations headquarters in central Bangkok on Monday.

A health ministry drug control committee on Friday approved a proposal to relist cannabis as a narcotic and allow it only for medical and research purposes.

The proposal is due to be submitted to the Narcotics Control Board this week and, if accepted, would come into force on January 1, 2025.
