The “Joyful Descent” is a traditional race in Serbia where thousands of participants go down the Ibar River drinking and barbecuing in their inflatable boats.

Accompanied by the sound of trumpets and vuvuzelas, this joyful and delirious regatta starts at the foot of the Medieval fortress of Maglič25 km upstream from Kraljevo.

It has been held annually for 34 years.
