Occupied Jerusalem- To the east of the city of Jerusalem is the town of Al-Eizariya, which takes its name and historical and archaeological value from an important story mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, according to Jerusalem affairs researcher Musa Pharaoh.

Pharaoh says that the name of the town goes back to the story of the Prophet Jesus, peace be upon them, resurrecting his friend Eliezer, whom he passed while traveling between the cities of Bethlehem and Jerusalem.

Tel Aviv Tribune Net takes you on a tour with Pharaoh to learn about the “Tomb of Eliezer,” the “Ezir” Mosque, and a church adjacent to them.
