Storm Ivo struck northwestern France on Wednesday, causing major floods to Redon.

Three departments were placed on a red alert after the Eowyn and Herminia storms.

About 1,000 people have been evacuated since weekends.

In Redon, the Vilaine reached 5.3 meters, exceeding 60 cm its level of the day before. The authorities call for caution, while help remain mobilized in the face of the persistent threat of the floods.
