Video. In pictures, Kharkiv struck by a night attack of Russian drones and missiles

Explosions followed the sirens of air raid shortly after 2:28 a.m., with radiant fires across the city. A drone crashed into a park but was safe. A man was injured and several fires declared themselves in industrial areas, including tire warehouses, sending thick smoke to the west suburbs.

In Soumy, the rescuers were attacked several times as they responded to previous strikes that had injured a person and damaged houses and vehicles.

Elsewhere, a drone strike on Odessa injured a person.

The Ukrainian air force said Russian forces had launched a salvo of 95 drones; 61 were intercepted or scrambled.
