The climbers, who had launched a call for help during the night, were able to be airlifted around 5:30 a.m. thanks to favorable weather conditions. Despite their ordeal, all three were found in good health and did not require any medical treatment.

La Dent du Géant, at 4,013 m, is a summit of the Mont-Blanc massif, shared between France and Italy. Very accessible, it attracts many mountaineers thanks to its cables and its access from the Col du Géant.
