The German government takes positions in support of Israel, which has been waging war on the Gaza Strip since October 7.

Berlin previously confirmed its intention to continue exporting weapons to Israel, even though it killed more than 36,000 people in Gaza, most of whom were women and children.
On the other hand, German universities and streets are witnessing a popular and student movement against the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
