Eid al-Adha commemorates the devotion of the prophet Ibrahim to God and is generally marked by family meetings, cattle sacrifices and donations to the poor. But in the outcry camps overcrowded in Gaza, families barely survive.
Children on the Muwasi coast have recited prayers alongside sheep and goat enclosures, although most families could not afford a sacrifice.
“This year, I can’t even provide bread,” said Abdel Rahman Madi.
