A group of people gathered outside the United Nations in New York on Tuesday to protest against the Iranian government, on the first day of high-level meetings and speeches at the annual United Nations General Assembly.

Protesters showed images of Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, depicting him with a snake’s head and holding skeletons and military drones.
The rally was organized by the Organization of Iranian American Communities.
