At an altitude of 1,000 meters in the Czech Beskydy Mountains, a flock of frosty devils attracts visitors from all over the Czech Republic.

The annual Ice Festival is underway and this year’s theme is all about traditional fairy tales and their evil characters.

Artists carved designs into huge blocks of ice, in the shapes of horned devils and a nativity scene.
