Video. Clashes after a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Berlin

During the demonstration in the Kreuzberg district, an officer was seriously injured after being fired in the crowd and struck. He was then transported to hospital.

Several demonstrators have also been injured and received medical care, depending on the emergency services.

Police have temporarily held more than 50 people for accusations including aggression, resistance to arrest and disturbance of public order.

The rally was dispersed by the authorities in the evening.
