A former 21 -year -old student opened fire Tuesday in a Graz school, killing nine people, including a 17 -year -old French student, and injuring several others before killing himself. The police said that the striker, who lived near Graz and had no criminal records, used two legally possessed firearms.
The special forces intervened in a few minutes, evacuating the building and restoring security in just 17 minutes.
The school, located a kilometer from the city center, remains closed.
