UNRWA: Another wave of displacement in Gaza, and the situation is getting worse every minute News

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that there is another wave of displacement taking place in the Gaza Strip, and that the situation is getting worse every minute.

This came in a brief statement published by the agency today, Wednesday, on the X social media platform.

UNRWA said, “There is another wave of displacement taking place in Gaza, and the situation is getting worse by the minute.”

She added that there is no safe area, and that the entire Gaza Strip has become one of the most dangerous places in the world.

The statement said: “There is nowhere to go, as the shelters are crowded with displaced people, including UNRWA shelters.

On Monday, UNRWA announced the displacement of about 1.9 million people across Gaza since October 7.

As of December 2, approximately 1.2 million displaced people were taking shelter in 156 UNRWA facilities throughout the Gaza Strip, including the northern region, according to the agency.

Continuous aggression

Since last October 7, the Israeli occupation army has launched a continuous aggression against Gaza, which has led to the martyrdom of more than 16,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in addition to the destruction of infrastructure and the displacement and starvation of the population.

The Palestinian News Agency said that the Israeli occupation forces committed new massacres last night and at dawn on Wednesday in various parts of the Gaza Strip, especially in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

The occupation targeted an entire residential square in Jabalia camp, which led to dozens of martyrs and wounded, including children and women, and fired a barrage of phosphorus and smoke bombs towards the center of the camp, which was witnessing a series of intense raids.
