On Monday, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said that about 28 children were killed daily in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the Israeli shelling and starvation that has been going on for more than 660 days.

The organization explained that children in Gaza face death as a result of bombing, malnutrition, hunger, lack of aid and vital services. “In Gaza, a daily average of 28 children is killed, i.e. the size of one class,” she added.

The UN organization stressed that the children of the Gaza Strip need food, water, medicine and protection. And most of all, they need a ceasefire, now.

The United Nations said that more than 1,500 people have been martyred in the Gaza Strip since last May, while trying to get food and at the distribution points of aid that Israel has gone into and along the United Nations aid.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said, last Saturday, that the death toll from the awaits of aid by Israeli bullets in the Strip amounted to 1422 martyrs, and more than 10,000 injured since May 27, while more than 150 people died due to famine, malnutrition, siege, and starvation waged by Israel against the residents of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli genocide war was left, with American support since October 7, 2023, more than 60 thousand and 199 martyrs and more than 150 thousand wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10 thousand missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced people and the famine that has been tired of many.
