The Ukrainian President says this new year of war with Russia will be decisive. For its part, Paris brings together European allies for a conference in support of Ukraine.
This new year of war with Russia will be decisive: this is what the Ukrainian President affirmed during his press conference on the second anniversary of the Russian invasion. He also recalled that this victory depended on the aid provided by the Western allies: “Will Ukraine lose in this war? I am sure it will not. The most difficult moment happened on the 24th two years ago. We have no other choice than winning. There is no possibility of losing, because what would happen if Ukraine loses? If we do not win, our existence will cease.”
In the Donetsk region close to the front, an airstrike targeted the Kostiantynivka station and its neighboring buildings. This strike did not cause any deaths according to local authorities, but a woman is believed to be trapped under the rubble.
A few dozen kilometers further, Moscow published images of the town of Avdiivka, which came under Russian control last week… A symbolic and strategic victory for the Russian army since the capture of Bakhmut last year.
For its part, Paris announced that it would hold a conference in support of Ukraine this Monday. 21 international leaders were invited. Objective: send a signal of mobilization against Russia.
