Ukraine: Russian strikes kill three people in Selydove and injure twelve


Three people were killed, including a child and a pregnant woman, following a Russian strike on the town of Selydove in the Donetsk region on Wednesday.

Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said 12 people, including children, were injured. The strike destroyed a hospital and damaged a dozen residential towers. Ukraine’s state emergency service released video from the day after the strike showing rescuers searching the ruined buildings for survivors. Selydove is located just 25 kilometers from the front line. The city was hit by four missiles, Mr. Klymenko added.

Separately, an overnight Russian attack on the town of Selydove in the eastern Donetsk region hit a medical center and a residential building, killing a child and a pregnant woman, Ukraine’s interior minister said , Ihor Klymenko, on social networks. Three other children were injured.
