Around fifty missiles and around ten drones were launched by Russian forces throughout Ukrainian territory on Monday.

In the southeastern Dnipropetrovsk region, homes and a shopping center were targeted in Kryvyi Rih, the hometown of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. A woman was killed in a strike outside the city.

Another woman died from her injuries after being pulled from the rubble in Kharkiv. At least four missiles hit the northeastern city.

Authorities in the western Khmelnytskyi region also said two civilians were killed in a series of strikes.

While winter conditions freeze positions on the front line, the Russian army relentlessly shells Ukrainian cities.

Moscow also claims to have intercepted a Ukrainian missile above the border region of Belgorod, which has been regularly targeted for several weeks.
