Military pressure is intensifying in Ukraine as evidenced by images of destruction in Avdiivka, in the east of the country. In the city, fighting has raged for several months.

And faced with incessant attacks by the Russian army, kyiv needs financial support more than ever.

In particular from the United States, which has committed more than 110 billion dollars since the start of the war in February 2022.

Except that the American Congress is currently blocking the sending of a new aid component. And the White House has warned that the country has only one aid envelope left, before the funds dedicated to Ukraine run out.

These funds will be given before the end of December, but the amount has not been communicated.

kyiv must also wait before receiving funds from the European Union. After being blocked by Hungary, this aid, amounting to 50 billion euros, must be discussed at the beginning of 2024.

In the meantime, after several months of fighting, Ukrainian soldiers are finding it increasingly difficult to defend the front line. In February 2024, the conflict will enter its third year.
