At least six people were injured after a Russian army strike in a residential area in the Kharkiv region in northwestern Ukraine.
Pulled out of the rubble by emergency services, a man was picked up by an ambulance and immediately transported to hospital. He was one of six people who were injured in Russian missile strikes in this residential area of the Kharkiv region in northwestern Ukraine.
The attack also caused significant material damage, with several houses damaged. Inside one of them, residents are trying to repair the damage.
A woman, who is still in shock, testifies.
“The explosion was powerful. I was in the house, in this room. We, the people of Kharkiv, always read the newspapers when bombs explode. I read “guided aerial bomb” for Saltivskyi district. I covered my ears and thought it would pass, but it didn’t. The plaster, windows and doors have fallen off. I couldn’t go out, go out through the window, because the neighbors shouted that there was fire, I thought my house was on fire“, explains Oksana Yarmak.
A month after the Russian offensive launched in Kharkiv, the fighting continues. After two years of bombing on Ukrainian territory, the World Bank and the European Union estimate that at least 486 billion euros will be needed to rebuild the country.
