Israeli occupation army radio reported that two people were seriously injured in a shooting attack at the Qalandiya military checkpoint, north of Jerusalem.

Local Palestinian platforms broadcast scenes documenting the occupation forces being on alert at the Qalandiya checkpoint, after gunfire was heard.

An Israeli policeman was killed and 4 others were injured, ranging from serious to moderate injuries, in a shooting attack that took place yesterday, Tuesday, on a highway near the city of Ashdod in southern Israel, while the perpetrator was martyred.

The shooting in Ashdod came days after an Israeli was killed and 5 injured in a stabbing attack that took place in 4 different locations in the city of Hadera last Wednesday, while the attacker was martyred.

Earlier this month, 7 people were killed in Tel Aviv in an attack launched with automatic weapons and knives claimed by the Ez al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
