Eight Palestinians were killed in an Israeli air strike on a tent and a residential house in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

A medical source at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis told Anadolu Agency that two martyrs arrived at the hospital as a result of an Israeli air strike that targeted a tent for displaced people in the city.

Eyewitnesses reported that an Israeli drone bombed a tent housing displaced people in the Sheikh Nasser area, and the bombing caused a fire to break out in it. Those inside were taken to the hospital, but their health condition was not immediately known.

During the Israeli war, Palestinians were forcibly displaced from their homes that were destroyed by Israel, which forced them to set up temporary tents in several areas that lacked the most basic necessities of life.

The Israeli army targeted the tents of displaced people several times during the past months with shelling that resulted in massacres that claimed the lives of hundreds of Palestinians, including martyrs and wounded.

The latest Israeli massacre against displaced people’s tents was on September 10, when its army targeted a camp in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis, resulting in the martyrdom of 40 Palestinians and the injury of 60 others, according to official Palestinian data.

On the other hand, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 6 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a residential apartment in the Batn Al-Sameen area, south of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. The injured were transferred to Nasser Hospital in the city.

In the Zeitoun neighbourhood in the south of Gaza City, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that about 30 Palestinians, most of them women and children, were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a house on one of the streets.

Our correspondent indicated that the wounded were transferred to the city’s Baptist Hospital, and that rescue teams are still searching for missing persons under the rubble of the destroyed house.

With full American support, Israel has been waging a devastating war in Gaza since October 7, leaving more than 136,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amidst massive destruction and deadly famine.

In contempt of the international community, Israel continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate halt, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
