Two martyrs in the West Bank, and the occupation forces continue to storm cities News


Two Palestinians were martyred in occupied Jerusalem and Bethlehem on Thursday evening, at a time when Israeli occupation forces stormed various areas in the West Bank.

The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported that a Palestinian from the town of Jabal Mukaber, southeast of occupied Jerusalem, was martyred after the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on him near the “Mazmoria” checkpoint separating the Jerusalem and Bethlehem governorates.

Meanwhile, the Israeli police announced that two Israelis were injured, one of them in serious condition, on Thursday, in a stabbing attack carried out by a Palestinian near the Israeli “Mazmoria” military checkpoint, and added, “In response, the security forces present at the scene opened fire toward the crossing point.”

In Bethlehem, a Palestinian was martyred after the occupation army opened fire on him near the tunnel checkpoint west of the city. The Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Thursday evening, “The martyr is Muhammad Sayel Al-Jundi (38 years old).

Storms and arrests

In addition, the Israeli occupation forces stormed, at dawn on Friday, the city of Hebron in the south of the West Bank, and deployed heavily on the main roads amid a power outage in large parts of the city.

As for Nablus, the occupation forces stormed the eastern region of the city, and Palestinian media reported that a large force of the occupation army, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the Balata camp, and was stationed in several streets in the city and around the camp, and deployed its snipers on the roofs of many buildings.

Confrontations also broke out between Palestinians and the Israeli occupation forces after they stormed the town of Arraba, south of Jenin.

The number of martyrs in the occupied West Bank has risen to 315 since October 7, and the number of prisoners has risen to 4,820 Palestinians.

The Israeli army carries out daily raids and incursions into villages and towns in the West Bank and Jerusalem, accompanied by confrontations, arrests, and the firing of bullets and gas bombs, coinciding with an aggression it has been waging against the Gaza Strip for 84 days, leaving more than 21,320 martyrs, 55,603 injured, and the destruction of homes and infrastructure.​​
