A young Palestinian man was martyred – today, Sunday – near occupied Jerusalem, after carrying out a stabbing attack that resulted in the injury of two Israelis in the Maale Adumim settlement, two days after another stabbing operation south of Jerusalem that also resulted in the injury of two Israelis.
The Israeli police said that the injured suffered minor injuries, and confirmed that they opened fire on the perpetrator of the attack, killing him.
The Israeli ambulance announced that those injured in the operation were two security guards.
Last Friday, a female Border Guard soldier and an Israeli security guard were injured, described as serious to moderate, in a stabbing attack at the Mazmoria checkpoint, south of occupied Jerusalem.

The occupation police said that the perpetrator of the attack arrived at the checkpoint in his car, got out, and stabbed first the female soldier and then the security guard, before the soldiers opened fire on him, leading to his martyrdom.
The operation comes at the height of the security alert witnessed in the occupied West Bank, including the city of Jerusalem, which witnessed more than one stabbing and shooting attack in the midst of the war on Gaza that has been ongoing for about 3 months.
