The Israeli occupation army announced early Thursday morning that two of its soldiers were killed as a result of a run-over attack at the Awarta checkpoint near the city of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the occupation forces stormed the city of Nablus at midnight after a ramming operation, where the Israeli army sent in more of its forces. The occupation forces also stormed the cities of Tulkarm, Ramallah, Al-Bireh, and the town of Beit Ummar in Hebron.
For its part, the Israeli Walla website said that army forces are combing the area to find the perpetrator of the attack. The occupation forces were on alert at the Awarta checkpoint, southeast of Nablus.

Storming West Bank cities
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent in Ramallah, Muhammad Khairy, said that the occupation forces stormed the center of Ramallah early in the morning in large numbers and reached Al-Manara Roundabout.
Tear gas bombs were also fired heavily, as Tel Aviv Tribune’s office in the city was affected by this gas. The correspondent pointed out that the occupation forces are besieging one of the most important Palestinian banks in Ramallah.
In a related development, a reporter in Hebron, Montaser Nassar, reported that the occupation forces stormed the Al-Dhahr area in the town of Beit Ummar in Hebron, half an hour after shooting at the Karma Sur settlement.

In a previous development, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that 3 Israeli soldiers were injured as a result of the detonation of an explosive device during Israeli army operations in Tubas last night. The occupation forces stormed the city and raided a number of homes, claiming that their owners were wanted by the security services.
Targeting a settlement
The Al-Qassam Brigades in Tulkarm camp also announced yesterday, Wednesday, the targeting of the Beit Hefer settlement, west of Tulkarm, in response to the massacres committed by the occupation in the Gaza Strip.
