“The Al-Shifa Hospital scenario is repeated.” With this phrase, the public on social media platforms likened the Israeli attack on the city of Khan Yunis and the targeting of the Nasser Medical Complex to the attack on the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza. Since last night, the occupation army has intensified its bombing of the vicinity of the Nasser Medical Complex.
Journalist Saleh Al-Jaafrawi published a video clip, in which he said that the occupation was targeting the vicinity of Nasser Medical Hospital with the aim of displacing people from inside the complex. The clip that Al-Jaafrawi published – via his Instagram account – showed that the area was empty of people for fear of Israeli bombing.
Journalist Youssef Al-Saifi also published a clip showing the Israeli tanks arriving at Al-Khair Roundabout, besieging Al-Aqsa University, and blocking the road leading to Nasser and Al-Amal Hospital.
The director of the surgical hospital in the Nasser Medical Complex announced that dozens of martyrs and wounded had arrived at the hospital, and that shooting was continuing in the vicinity of the complex. The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that citizens were forced to bury 40 martyrs in a mass grave in the courtyard of the Nasser Medical Complex, and activists and photographers had already circulated a video clip. It appears that a mass grave was dug in the complex’s courtyard to bury the martyrs.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf Qaddoura, said that the Israeli occupation stormed Al-Khair Hospital west of Khan Yunis and detained the medical teams. Journalist Muhammad Fayek also published a video clip showing the intensity of the Israeli bombing of Khan Yunis. The footage showed the density of smoke rising in the sky of the city due to the violent bombing.
The scenes coming from the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis sparked a state of shock and anger among the pioneers of the virtual world, as tweeters said that after 108 days of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the scenario of burying martyrs in the courtyards of hospitals was repeated. In the past, they were buried in the courtyard of Al-Shifa Medical Hospital, and today. They are buried in the complex’s courtyard.
Others pointed out that what happened in Gaza City and its north is taking place with the same criminality and brutality now in Khan Yunis: an almost complete siege of the city, increasing pressure on the Nasser Medical Complex, besieging Al-Khair Hospital, intensifying the bombing in all its forms, and forcing citizens to bury the martyrs in the streets and the hospital. For 108 days, Gaza witnessed the most horrific wars of genocide, destruction, murder and crime, and no one lifted a finger.
Just as the martyrs were buried in mass graves in the courtyard of Al-Shifa Hospital today, the same scene is repeated today in the courtyard of Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.

Activists circulated video clips of what they said were fierce and violent clashes between the Palestinian resistance factions and the Israeli occupation forces on the Khan Yunis axes. The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Resistance Movement (Hamas), also announced that it had targeted an Israeli foot force with an anti-personnel missile west of the city of Khan Yunis, putting its members in the middle. One dead and one wounded.
