Although the Israeli occupation army used excessive force and committed thousands of massacres, in addition to the siege, starvation, and displacement against citizens in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, it failed to find the prisoners held by the Palestinian resistance.
After more than 425 days of the ongoing war of extermination on the Gaza Strip, Palestinian tweeters and various media outlets shared a video clip showing soldiers from the occupation army speaking on loudspeakers and in Arabic, offering the displaced people in northern Gaza a sign bearing the number $5 million as a reward in exchange for providing information about the prisoners. .

The video spread widely among social media users, as the clip showed the reaction of displaced children and women from the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, showing no interest in the occupation soldiers.
Commenting on this, Palestinian journalist and political writer Fayed Abu Shamala explained through his account on the “X” platform that the Israeli army failed to recover its prisoners held by the Palestinian resistance despite all the genocide and destruction it did in the Gaza Strip.
Losers! After all the annihilation and destruction they did!

Responses and comments poured in on the video, saying, “They displaced them, demolished their homes, and killed their families, and after all that they offered them money to sell their consciences,” referring to the inability of the occupation army to find the prisoners held by the resistance, despite a full year of war on the Gaza Strip.
The tweeters added that after a year and two months of destroying Gaza, including its homes, schools, and hospitals, displacing its population, and committing human genocide, the hostages have not been found.

One of the tweeters also made fun of the video clip, saying, “I thought about opening a stall and selling it, and he came out with information,” while another commented on the child’s reaction to the occupation soldiers while he was walking, saying, “He didn’t take him as much as his mind could.”

Others pointed out that the occupation, despite the power it possesses and the military support it receives from Western and Arab countries, ended up offering a financial reward to anyone who would lead it to the prisoners, considering that this shows a great inability to recover them.
5 million for whoever reports the location of the hostages
😆😅
After a year and two months, they destroyed Gaza’s homes, schools, and hospitals, displacing the population and exterminating humanity
They did not find the hostages through the invincible Zionist army, the support of the forces and fleets of the superpowers America and Britain, and finally an offer of a reward to anyone who leads them. Is it a joke, or is there a hidden goal? pic.twitter.com/Krpm37VN96– 🌹Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Nimr (Abu Alaa) 🌹 (@Abdullahmuhamd0) December 4, 2024
One of the tweeters also commented on the video, saying, “Their latest spy devices and tracking dogs were unable to find out the location of the prisoners and detainees in Gaza, and they did not find an agent to cooperate with them or guide them to any information that would benefit them, so they resorted to exploiting the people’s need and offered 5 million dollars to anyone who cooperated with them.”

Hamas recommendations
In the same context, Reuters said that it had seen an internal statement from the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stating that the movement has information about Israel’s intention to carry out an operation to recover some of its prisoners in the Gaza Strip, and it includes instructions to the movement’s fighters regarding such an “adventure.”
According to what the agency reported, Hamas learned that Israel intends to carry out an operation to recover prisoners similar to the operation it carried out in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip last June, which led to the death of more than 270 Palestinians as a result of the devastating bombing.
The statement stated, “It is expected that the enemy will make a similar attempt or a scenario close to the Nuseirat operation with the aim of trying to free a number of its prisoners,” according to what was reported by Reuters, which said that Hamas spoke of “neutralizing” the prisoners if such an operation was carried out.
The internal statement added that the recommendations are to “tighten the living conditions of the prisoners according to instructions issued after the Nusseirat operation… activate the neutralization orders… as an immediate and rapid response to any adventure by the enemy.”
According to the statement – issued on November 22nd – Hamas asked its members who are holding Israeli prisoners in Gaza not to pay attention to any repercussions after these instructions, stressing that Israel will be responsible for the fate of those prisoners.
Hamas announced – the day before yesterday, Monday – that 33 Israeli prisoners held by it had been killed since October 2023, and confirmed that most of them were killed by the Israeli army’s bombing of different areas of the Gaza Strip.
The movement repeatedly stressed that any prisoner exchange agreement must achieve an end to the aggression on the Gaza Strip and the return of the displaced to their areas.
