Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that Israel does not want peace or stability in the region, and warned against the absence of the Israeli offensive strategy.

Fidan confirmed during a speech on Wednesday evening, in an emergency session of the International Security Separation, to discuss the humanitarian situation in Gaza, that Israel continues to commit a collective extermination against the Palestinian people while the Security Council sessions are being held.

The Turkish Foreign Minister said that “the principle of international humanitarian law has not remained without violation by Israel,” stressing that the occupying power uses hunger as a weapon in its war against the Palestinians in Gaza.

“There is no need to go to speech. Let’s face the truth. After 80 years, the world is witnessing again the return of the concentration camps. There is a campaign of extermination against an entire people.”

Fidan pointed out that the Israeli war machine is still targeting children who are trying to get water for their families and mothers who are looking for food for their children.

He continued, “This is a machine feeding on hatred and impunity, and it also feeds on unconditional support from some.”

Fidan stressed the need to allow humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip, and said that the only effective way to deliver aid is through the United Nations.

“Aid must be delivered across all existing crossings, within the framework of international humanitarian law and in full coordination with the United Nations, and in a timely manner sufficiently, without any obstacles,” Fidan said. He continued, “The basic principles of humanitarian aid represented by humanity, neutrality, non -discrimination and independence must be protected.”

He pointed out that the recognition of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state is still a decisive matter to achieve permanent peace in the Middle East.

Adian strategy

The Turkish Foreign Minister affirmed that Israel is trying to implement its aggressive strategy in Lebanon, Syria and Iran, and not only in Palestine.

He warned that if the Israeli offensive strategy is not contained, the whole region faces the risk of instability.

He continued, “This is exactly what is happening in Syria. The Israeli aggression threatens the fragile peace that the Syrian people have achieved at a high cost.”

Fidan criticized the UN Security Council and the United Nations with the Israeli genocide in Gaza, and said, “There is a very clear fact: The UN Security Council was not satisfied with disappointed the hopes of Gaza residents only, but also hit human dignity with disappointment.”

He stressed that the Security Council has even abandoned the values and principles on which the United Nations is based.

Fidan pointed out that the crisis in Gaza is no longer a humanitarian state, but rather has become a profound test of our collective humanity, either to pass this test together or fail together.

The Turkish Foreign Minister concluded his speech by saying, “What to do is clear: stopping the Israeli war machine, stopping impunity, stopping the shooting immediately and permanently, introducing humanitarian aid without obstacle, and renewing the commitment to the two -state solution.”
