Both people are in good health, as are the animals that accompanied them at the time of the storm.
In Turkey, all’s well that ends well for two elderly people who were rescued with their two lambs and chicken after getting lost in a snowstorm in the south of the country.
Naciye and Mustafa Akın were trying to return home to Akseki, a remote town in the Taurus Mountains, when they became lost due to low visibility.
According to Turkish media, the couple took shelter under a tree, warmed themselves with the body heat of the lambs, before being rescued by the Turkish Disaster Management Agency several hours later.
They were both transported to a local hospital and are now in good health, as are their animals.
