Turkey victims of floods in a large part of the country

Heavy rains and strong winds swept across Turkey this weekend. The western, southern and northern regions were all affected by terrible weather. The Antalya region was on orange alert.

The storm brought down many trees, giant waves formed on the beach and some boats were damaged. Heavy rains also paralyzed traffic. In Izmir, after the storm, the sea overflowed and certain areas of the coast were flooded.
