The American president-elect highlights an exchange with the Chinese president that was positive for both countries.
A few days before his inauguration, Donald Trump spoke by telephone with Chinese President Xi Jingping on Friday.
The two men spoke, among other things, about trade, fentanyl and TikTok, according to the American president-elect, who evokes a positive exchange.
Beijing also welcomes this interview and says it is ready to improve its relations with Washington.
During his next term, Donald Trump will have to manage the thorny issue of Taiwan. A delegation of eight Taiwanese parliamentarians left for Washington, where they will attend the inauguration ceremony on Monday.
