The IDF explains that it conducted a operation against a Hezbollah military structure in southern Lebanon when terrorists were there.”

The Israeli army said it received information several hours later that journalists had been hit.

The IDF assures that theoperation is “under analysis”.

Two journalists from the pro-Iranian channel Mayadeen and another from the Hezbollah channel Al-Manar were killed.

The tragedy took place before dawn on Friday.

The IDF targeted a locality about sixty kilometers south of Beirut where several media teams were based to cover the conflict.

According to Information Minister Ziad Makari, 18 journalists representing seven media outlets were present in the hotel complex targeted by the IDF.
