Thousands of Palestinians participated in the funeral of two bodies, two martyrs who were killed by settlers to death in the eastern town of Al -Mazraa, north of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.
The two martyrs, Saif Muslat and Muhammad Al -Shalabi, participated last Friday with the people of the town of Single, near their town, to repel an attack by the settlers under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
Participants in the funeral of the two martyrs who were born on the same day and martyred in the same date chanted slogans calling for the rows to stand in the face of the settlers and asking the countries of the world to intervene to curb Israel and force them to stop the attacks of settlers who continue to establish settlement outposts to transfer them to settlements separating the northern West Bank from the middle and south of it.
The family of the martyr Saif Al -Din – who holds American citizenship – has said that her son “was severely beaten to death in our land that settlers tried to steal.”
She explained that the settlers surrounded their son Saif al -Din for more than 3 hours, while the paramedics tried to reach it.
His US foreign family called for an investigation into his death, and said in a statement that Saif, who was 20 years old, was living in Florida where he was born, and visited the West Bank in early June “to spend time with his relatives.”
“We are calling on the US State to conduct an immediate investigation and that the settlers who killed a sword were held accountable for their crimes,” she added.
The State Department spokesman replied by saying that “the Foreign Ministry has no priority than the safety and security of American citizens abroad,” noting that “questions related to any investigation to the government of Israel.”
It is noteworthy that 28 Palestinians were martyred in attacks by settlers who have been protected by the occupation army since October 7, 2023.
